Reflexology
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a holistic non invasive natural therapy that aims to treat imbalances within the body and enhances its innate ability to heal itself. The balance is achieved by applying pressure to reflex points on the feet or hands that correspond to every organ and system in the body.
How can Reflexology help me?
As reflexology treats the whole person, not just the symptoms of disease, most people can benefit from treatment.
Reflexology may help with:
Stress related conditions
Sleep disorders
Headaches
Aching muscles
Pain management
Chronic fatigue
Coughs and colds
Depression
What to expect from your first treatment.
On your first visit to see a reflexologist, she will take a full medical history to ensure the treatment is specific to your individual needs. You will then be asked to take a seat in the reflexology chair, where you will be tilted backwards in a relaxed position. The reflexologist will then examine your feet and record her findings on a foot chart. The reflexologist will then start the treatment by working over the relevant reflex points specific to your needs.
Your first treatment will last an hour and a half, then subsequent treatments an hour.
