Jo Turner
Jo joined Courtyard Clinic in June 2005.
Jo qualified with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy from Manchester University in 1996.
Having gained experience in large teaching hospitals in Oxford and London, Jo spent 2 years travelling and working as a physiotherapists in Australia and New Zealand.
On her return to the UK, she trained as a Pilates instructor. Over recent years this has become an increasing part of her work as a physiotherapist. She now teaches regular classes at the Courtyard Clinic and works as a presenter for the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI)
In 2006 Jo also completed a masters degree in pain management at Leicester University. This allowed her greater insight into the processes involved in acute and chronic pain conditions.
Jo’s aim is to combine this knowledge with her manual and exercise therapy skills, to provide a comprehensive approach to injury management and rehabiliation.
