Juliette Sherrington – Neurological Occupational Therapist BAOT, HPC

Juliette qualified in 1997 with a Bsc hons degree in Occupational Therapy from Coventry University. Since qualifying she has gained experience in psychiatry, orthopaedics, surgical and neurological Occupational Therapy working with both in and out patient services.

Juliette has worked within Gloucestershire for the majority of her career with the past 12 years working between Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucester Royal Hospital in the field of neurology. For the past 9 years Juliette has worked on the stroke rehabilitation Unit at Cheltenham General Hospital. Prior to this she worked with the neurological team at Gloucester Royal Hospital treating a varied range of conditions including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease and Guillain Barre Syndrome.

Since qualifying Juliette has completed a National Diploma in stroke care and a master’s degree in teaching health professionals. She also has additional training in Bobath and Motor Relearning treatments particularly in relation to the upper limb. She has completed extensive cognitive rehabilitation training. Juliette is also saeboflex trained and is able to offer assessments for the saeboflex and saebostretch splint.
