Aromatherapy
What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy combines the benefits of essential oils with those of holistic massage, to produce a pleasurable yet effective method of healing. Essential oils are highly fragrant, volatile (quickly evaporating) fluids that occur naturally in aromatic plants. Commonly used essential oils are Lavender, Bergamot and Geranium. Essential oils have therapeutic properties such as anti-inflammatory, uplifting and relaxing. The essential oils help to improve well being and enhance health.

What to expect from your first treatment.
On your first visit to see an aromatherapist, she will take a full medical history to make sure the treatment is individual and designed to suit your particular needs.
Your aromatherapist will then discuss with you the essential oils that are suitable for your specific needs. The aromatherapist will then blend a unique combination of essential oils. The blend of essential oils may change from treatment to treatment.
Your first treatment will last an hour and a half, then subsequent treatments an hour or half an hour. Aromatherapy appointments are available at flexible times and days thought out the week.
