Traditional Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture is a system of healing which has been practised in China and other Eastern countries for thousands of years.

Although often described as a means of pain relief, it is in fact used to treat people with a wide range of illnesses. Its focus is on improving the overall wellbeing of the patient, rather than the isolated treatment of specific symptoms.

Holistic Reflexology

Reflexology is a very effective treatment for many symptoms including stress, headaches, sinusitis, back, neck and joint pain including arthritic and hormonal conditions.

By using a rhythmic finger and thumb technique, gentle pressure is applied to the feet and hands; these are called reflex points which correspond to all the organs
and systems of the body.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a development of Osteopathy that works with the fundamental body systems and tissues to help release held trauma.

It is a hands-on treatment using a light, non-invasive touch. Because of this, it may be very useful in assisting the body in recovering from injury, surgery, or other traumas, whether recent or long standing.

Reiki and Holistic Massage

The word Reiki means ‘universal life energy’ in Japanese, where this therapy originated at the turn of the century. Reiki is based on the premise that illness is caused by a disruption in the body ’s energy field or life force and a Reiki treatment fills the body with positive energy causing the disease-making negative energy to disappear.

Body Talk

‘Exercising the mind as well as the body is definitely the way forward. To control our minds is to control our bodies and see the outcomes we strive for.’
