The Graston Technique ®

The Graston Technique ® is a recent innovation in the treatment of musculosketal and myofascial dysfunction. It involves the use of uniquely designed stainless steel instruments in the treatment of these dysfunctions.

These instruments act as an adjunct to manual therapy and on many occasions enable better detection and specificity of treatment.

The Graston Technique ® can be used in treating acute and chronic soft tissue conditions and can be effective in enhancing healing and soft tissue mobilization post surgery.

Specialised anatomy and instrument training is required before registration as a Graston Technique ® Therapist.

At The Courtyard Clinic both Chris Stephenson and Craig de Groot have undergone training and are registered users of The Graston Technique ®.
